Polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as PTFE, is a synthetic material with a wide range of chemical capabilities. PTFE is largely chemically inert, its only real vulnerabilities being fluorine and molten alkali. We offer PTFE and modified variants as sheets, billets and rods, as well as finished parts such as flat cut gaskets, thin-wall tube, sealing tapes and machined parts.

We offer cut PTFE and modified PTFE gaskets to all modern standards, including ASME, DIN, BS10 and JIS specifications. Gaskets can be provided to suit full face or raised face flanges. As well as standard sizes we can provide custom flat cut gaskets to your sizes or specific drawing.

Machined Parts

When precision is key, our machined PTFE parts can be a great option for your chemical application. Whether you require simple machined PTFE rings, or more complex parts, we can help. PTFE machined parts are available in virgin PTFE or in a variety of modified alternatives such as glass, graphite and SS316 filled PTFE, amongst other options.

PTFE Tapes

Self-adhesive expanded joint sealant PTFE tape is provided in a range of sizes, usually by the 8 or 15 metre coil. With a wide range of sizes stocked in large quantities, we usually have an item on hand to suit your needs.

Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant Data Sheet

PTFE thread seal tape is wrapped around a pipe thread before connecting to a joining part in order to fill any imperfections and encourage a firm seal. We offer various sizes and grades of thread seal tape including options for potable water, oxygen and gas use.

PTFE Thread Seal Tape Data Sheet

PTFE is available in a variety of options, including:

 Virgin PTFE
Pure PTFE, available in sheet, billets, tube or as finished parts.

 Glass/Carbon/Graphite filled PTFE
Available as sheet, billets or as finished parts

 Expanded PTFE
Available as sheet or as self-adhesive tape.

 Modified PTFE
Available as sheet, including major brands such as Garlock Gylon ®, Flexitallic Sigma ®, Novus Uniflon ® and Klinger TopChem ®.

Smooth bore PTFE tube has extremely low coefficient of friction and has excellent non-stick properties. Due to the nature of PTFE, it is resistant to nearly all solvents, acids and bases.

FDA approved and unaffected by oxygen, ozone and UV irradiation, PTFE tube is a versatile product for use in a range of applications including chemical, food and air compression.
